Dead As Disco is now available in early access, bringing musical combat, multiple idols, challenge modes, and a free play experience for players who want endless rhythm-based action. As development continues throughout early access, more content and features are expected to arrive. Inside the SaveGames folder, you’ll find several files using the .sav extension. Instead of copying individual save files, it’s recommended to back up the entire Pagoda folder to avoid missing important data.
Since Dead As Disco is currently an early access title, older save backups may not always remain compatible with future updates and major game revisions.

Yes. Dead As Disco supports multiple save slots, allowing players to maintain separate progress files. Currently, the game includes three individual save slots, each with its own playlists, progression, and settings.
To create a new save, simply select “New Game” from the main menu and choose one of the available file slots.
Dead As Disco Steam Features
Dead As Disco includes support for several Steam platform features, including the following:
Steam Cloud
After closing the game, your save data is automatically uploaded to Steam Cloud servers. This allows you to continue your progress seamlessly across multiple devices, including the Steam Deck.
Steam Family Share
Players who own Dead As Disco can share access with members of their Steam Family, allowing others in the household to download and play the game from their own accounts.
Steam Input
The game features native controller support, but Steam Input compatibility also allows players to use third-party controllers or customized control setups.
Steam Deck Verified
Dead As Disco is officially Steam Deck Verified, meaning it meets Valve’s standards for handheld compatibility, including readable text, proper button prompts, and stable performance.
At the moment, Dead As Disco does not include Steam achievements. However, the developers confirmed in their roadmap that achievements are planned during the early access period. Additional Steam features such as trading cards, point shop items, and tradable collectibles are also expected to arrive closer to the game’s full release, currently planned for 2027.
