After much anticipation, Pathologic 3 is finally out on PC and PS5. Ice-Pick Lodge has once again established itself as one of the most prominent developers of the past decade, especially on PC.
If you’re playing on PC and want to access your local progress, here is the save file location for Pathologic 3:

You can find individual save files in the Saves folder, but the easiest way is to back up the entire Pathologic 3 folder inside the Ice-Pick Lodge folder for future use or backup.

Pathologic 3 Steam Features
- Steam Cloud: Your save files are uploaded to Steam Cloud when you exit the game and can be downloaded on any device you are signed into.
- Steam Family Sharing: If you own Pathologic 3, other members of your Steam family can access it from their library.
- Steam Input: The game natively supports multiple controllers, and you can use Steam Input to make third-party controllers work easily.

Although the game has many features, players were somewhat disappointed that it only supports English and Russian. As the third entry in the series, a wider localization was expected. However, the developers confirmed in the launch FAQ that work on additional languages has already started but could not be completed before release due to the expanded scope of the sequel.
If you already own previous entries in the series, you’ll receive an extra discount on Pathologic 3 on top of the 20% launch discount. The PC version has modest system requirements, allowing most players to enjoy the game smoothly. It is also playable on the Steam Deck with a few adjustments to the settings.
