Fortnite is celebrating its eighth birthday, and with it comes a set of special missions you’ll need to finish to unlock exclusive rewards. Since these cosmetics are limited-time only, the quests are the only way to get them.

There are six quests in total, and finishing them will grant you all eight available rewards. Here’s the full list of missions and how to complete them:

Search containers before damaging a player in a single match in Fortnite
This quest requires you to search eight containers in a single round before you damage an enemy player. Progress does not carry over between matches, so it has to be done in one game.
Themed after Fortnite’s eighth birthday, this task is best completed at POIs that are packed with loot but less contested. Good choices include First Order Base, Resistance Base, and Outpost Enclave. These areas aren’t very popular but have plenty of containers to search.
Dance by a birthday cake found at named locations in Fortnite
Birthday cakes can be found at most named POIs across the island. Once you spot one, walk up to it and use any emote—yes, it doesn’t have to be a dance. Just standing near the cake and emoting will complete this task.
Throw birthday presents in Fortnite
For this quest, you need to throw three birthday presents. They spawn rarely as floor loot, but your best chance of finding them is at main POIs since they usually have more loot overall.
After picking one up, throw it like any other item. It will transform into a large gift box that you can break open with your Pickaxe. Inside, you’ll usually find high-tier loot such as weapons, balloons, and ammo.
Ascend to 80 meters using balloons in Fortnite
Once you find balloons, equip three of them at once to maximize how high you can fly. This should easily get you to the required 80 meters. From there, it’s just a matter of floating until you’ve reached the necessary height.
Eat slices of birthday cake found at named locations in Fortnite
Around each large birthday cake at POIs, you’ll notice small glowing blue slices on plates. To complete this quest, you need to eat eight slices.
Each slice restores health or shields, so make sure you aren’t already at full. If you can’t eat all eight slices in one match, don’t worry—you can complete this quest across multiple games.
Wish the bus driver a happy birthday in Fortnite
The final quest is simple: just thank the bus driver at the start of any match. Doing so counts as wishing them a happy birthday.
With all six quests complete, you’ll unlock every birthday-themed reward. After that, you can move on to other challenges—like exploring the mysterious mountain location waiting on the map.
