The Happy Bingo is a delightful feature that can guide your daily and weekly routines in Story of Seasons: Grand Bazaar. By participating in Happy Bingo, you can earn many valuable rewards, but most players are especially interested in the unique unlockable costumes.
How to Unlock Happy Bingo
To unlock the Happy Bingo feature, you need to reach the City Bazaar rank (Rank 4/7) in Zephyr Town. Once you reach this rank, the Happy Sprites will visit you during the day and explain how Happy Bingo works.
After the cutscene, you immediately gain access to the Happy Bingo cards.
How Happy Bingo Works
Happy Bingo is not a limited-time event; it’s a permanent feature of the game.
As the name suggests, Happy Bingo is a standard Bingo game:
- Each player receives a Bingo card with a 5×5 grid of squares.
- Each square represents a task or activity that must be completed to mark it as finished.
- Completing a full horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line earns a reward.
You can earn multiple rewards:
- Five rewards for horizontal and vertical lines.
- Two rewards for diagonal lines.
- The grand prize is awarded after completing the entire card.
Since there is no time limit, there’s no pressure to finish the activities immediately.
As of patch 1.1, there are:
- Four Deluxe Bingo Cards, each granting an exclusive cosmetic when completed.
- Two general Happy Bingo Cards: Easy and Hard.
Most tasks are straightforward, such as foraging, cooking, petting animals, harvesting crops, or selling at the bazaar, but some activities can be challenging or mysterious.
Finding the Mysterious Sparkly Light
One tricky activity involves locating the mysterious sparkly light. These appear randomly, left by the Happy Sprites, and can show up in the Mountains, Zephyr Town, Bazaar, or Park.
To find them:
- Explore areas thoroughly.
- Look for a small blueish sparkle, which is easier to notice at night.
This task is similar to other lost-item quests in the game, adding a bit of mystery to Happy Bingo.
Claiming Happy Bingo Rewards
Rewards can only be claimed on bazaar days at the Happy Sprites stall.
To claim rewards:
- Talk to Penny and select the “Happy Bingo” option.
- Open your Bingo card and find each completed line.
- Choose which reward to claim: horizontal, vertical, or diagonal.
Deluxe Cards offer the following prizes:
- Pirate Glider (Black)
- Captain’s Hat & Captain’s Coat
- Pirate Glider (Green)
- Seafarer’s Dress
Complete all four Deluxe Cards to collect all rewards. After that, you can switch to the Easy and Hard cards to earn additional random rewards.
These rewards not only enhance your cosmetic collection but can also help you progress faster in the bazaar and provide tasks for endgame completion, including grindy donation ranks.
