Creepy Jar has officially announced the early access pricing for StarRupture, which is set to launch on Steam in just a few days. Following weeks of speculation and a strong reception from recent playtests, the developers have finally confirmed both the base price and a limited-time launch discount.
How Much Will StarRupture Cost in Early Access?
During early access, StarRupture will be priced at $19.99 / €19.99 / £16.99 / 64.99 zł. To celebrate the launch, the game will receive a 20% discount, reducing the price to $15.99 / €15.99 / £13.59 / 51.99 zł for a limited time.
While Creepy Jar hasn’t specified how long the discount will last, it’s likely to run for around a week. Due to the heavy speculation surrounding the price, the studio has also released a dedicated pricing trailer, which is now available to watch.
If you’re interested in StarRupture, taking advantage of the launch discount is highly recommended.
Although the developers haven’t confirmed a price increase for the full 1.0 release, they note in the Steam early access FAQ that they “reserve the possibility of increasing the price as the game expands.” This is fairly common, as full releases are often priced higher than their early access versions.
StarRupture Early Access Release Date

StarRupture launches in early access on January 6, 2026, exclusively on Steam. Players can check the exact release time in their region using the official countdown timer.
Creepy Jar has also confirmed that the game will remain in early access for at least one year. At launch, StarRupture will be available only on PC, with no current plans announced for a console release—something that’s typical for many early access titles. Players should also review the system requirements before jumping in.
At around $20, StarRupture is fairly priced for an automation-focused, open-world survival and exploration game, especially when compared to similar releases. Based on hands-on experience with the review build, the game is launching in a polished state, with many core systems already in place to deliver an enjoyable survival and base-building experience.
