Risk of Rain 2: Alloyed Collective features a standard final boss, but it also hides a secret true final boss that you can face immediately after defeating the Solus Wing. Since it’s a hidden encounter, there are several steps to follow to unlock it. Here’s a complete guide.

Reach the True Final Boss in Alloyed Collective – Solus Heart

After defeating the regular final boss, Solus Wing, take the portal through its eye to the Hidden Realm: Computational Exchange. Here, you’ll need to make an offering to a large Solus Unit.

By default, the Solus Unit will reject any offering. You must first explore the area to find Chef behind a translucent, glitchy wall.

Give Chef the Encrypted Cerebellum along with any of the following: Sentry Key, Encrusted Key, Rusted Key, Empathy Cores, Orphaned Core, or Prison Matrix. Chef will combine the items and give you the Exposed Cerebellum.

Offer the Exposed Cerebellum to the large Solus Unit. This action opens a new Encrypted Portal, which you need to enter.

This portal leads to the Hidden Realm: Neural Sanctum, where you will face Solus Heart, the true final boss of the Alloyed Collective expansion.

  1. Reach Stage 3 and activate the Node so the Encrypted Portal appears after defeating the teleporter boss.
  2. Travel to Conduit Canyon, then hack the barrier by inserting three Sentry Keys into the Sentry Terminals.

  4. Fight the Solus Control Unit and the Alloy Hunter.
  5. After defeating them, travel to Solutional Haunt and take on Solus Wing.
  6. Collect the Encrypted Cerebellum dropped by Solus Wing.
  7. Enter the portal through Solus Wing’s eye to reach Hidden Realm: Computational Exchange.
  8. Combine the Encrypted Cerebellum with a Sentry Key, Encrusted Key, Rusted Key, Empathy Core, Orphaned Core, or Prison Matrix at Chef to get the Exposed Cerebellum.
  9. Offer the Exposed Cerebellum to the large Solus Unit to open the portal to Solus Heart.

This leads to one of the toughest battles in the game, with a stage that is visually stunning and packed with challenge.
