Similar to previous expansions, Alloyed Collective brings new skins for several base survivors in Risk of Rain 2. Each skin is themed around the expansion, but they are only available for the original characters.
Unlock the Alloyed Collective Skins in Risk of Rain 2
Unlocking these skins is not straightforward. To get the Alloyed Collective skins for base survivors, you need to reach and defeat the true final boss, Solus Heart, with the survivor you want the skin for. After defeating him, you can either accept or reject his offering by interacting with it, depending on which survivor you are using.
Here’s the correct interaction for each survivor to earn their skin:
| Survivor | Interaction with Solus Heart for Skin |
|---|---|
| Commando | Reject the offering of the collective |
| Huntress | Reject the offering of the collective |
| Bandit | Accept the offering of the collective |
| MUL-T | Reject the offering of the collective |
| Engineer | Reject the offering of the collective |
| Artificer | Accept the offering of the collective |
| REX | Accept the offering of the collective |
| Mercenary | Reject the offering of the collective |
| Loader | Accept the offering of the collective |
| Acrid | Reject the offering of the collective |
| Captain | Accept the offering of the collective |
For the new survivors, Operator and Drifter, you need to beat the game or Obliterate on Monsoon difficulty to unlock their mastery skins.
Unfortunately, Railgunner, Void Fiend, Seeker, False Son, and Chef do not have any new skins in the Alloyed Collective expansion.
Alloyed Collective Skins Showcase in Risk of Rain 2
Here’s what all the new skins look like in-game:
Commando, Huntress, and Bandit

MUL-T, Artificer, and Mercenary

REX, Loader, and Acrid

Captain and Engineer

Operator and Drifter

I really wish there were new skins for the DLC survivors as well, but the skins included aren’t bad. I personally like Commando’s skin, though the wireframe styles aren’t really my favorite.
