Extraction shooters continue to be popular, especially following the success of ARC Raiders. KRAFTON is now entering the genre with PUBG: Black Budget, a first-person tactical extraction shooter, and a Closed Alpha Test is coming soon.
Here’s how you can sign up to participate and provide feedback to the developers:
Sign Up for the Closed Alpha Test
To join the PUBG: Black Budget Closed Alpha Test, visit the game’s official Steam store page and click the Request Access button.
If selected, you will receive a confirmation email, and the playtest copy will be added to your Steam library.

- Mode: First-person perspective (FPP) only

The alpha will focus on testing early-game systems, combat pacing, extraction balance, and player progression. Since it is an early release, players should expect bugs and technical issues.
Closed Alpha Test Schedule
The playtest will run over two weekends in December, totaling about six days:
- Week 1: Dec 12, 2025 (Fri) 01:00 – Dec 14 (Sun) 23:59 PST
- Week 2: Dec 19, 2025 (Fri) 01:00 – Dec 21 (Sun) 23:59 PST

There will be no NDA, allowing players to stream, record, and share gameplay. Additionally, once the test goes live, participants can secure a guaranteed invite through Twitch and Chzzk drops.
