In Escape from Tarkov’s main story quest, Tour, one objective requires players to locate the Port Terminal on Shoreline, along with completing a few additional tasks. After completing the objectives on Woods and talking to Skier, the quest updates to “Locate the entrance to the Port Terminal.”
The Port Terminal can only be accessed via Shoreline. It is located by the main road near the pier, close to the Road to the Customs extraction point. Near the intersection of the main road, you will spot a roadblock and a watchtower with a yellow bus beside it. Interact with the comms device under the tower to complete the initial objective.
Completing this interaction also triggers two more objectives:
- Find a way to contact the soldiers at the Terminal
- Use the intercom to contact the port garrison
Interacting with the comms device at the watchtower completes all current tasks for the raid.
Afterward, the next step is to “learn how to escape Tarkov” by interacting with traders, specifically Prapor and Mechanic. Mechanic requires $20,000 to proceed, and players must also survive and extract from Shoreline, which will involve another Shoreline raid.
Since $20,000 is a significant sum, players don’t need to rush this quest. You can focus on other side quests or farm valuable loot, such as additional LEDX spawns in the expanded Interchange, to build up funds before completing this part of the Tour quest.
