After several demanding and often unoptimized Unreal Engine 5 releases, Techland has delivered Dying Light The Beast, a polished game that runs smoothly on both PC and consoles. On PC, players can enjoy stable frametimes and a wide variety of adjustable settings.
To further improve your experience, you can skip the intro videos and splash screens using a simple command.
Skip Dying Light: The Beast Intro Videos
Similar to Dying Light and Dying Light 2: Stay Human, you can use a console command to bypass the developer and technology partner logos. This saves time and lets you get straight into the game.
Steps to skip intro videos:
- Make sure Dying Light: The Beast is not running.
- Open Steam and navigate to your library.
- Right-click on Dying Light: The Beast and select Properties.
- In the General tab, enter the following command under Launch Options:

When you launch the game next time, you’ll go directly to the “Press any key” screen instead of watching the intro videos, logos, or warnings.
If you want to view the logos again, simply remove the command. However, keeping it is helpful for faster access to the game.
Additional Notes
Techland’s in-house engine ensures that Dying Light The Beast runs well on a wide range of systems. Although ray-tracing features are not available at launch, the developers have confirmed they will be added in a post-launch update.
This simple command is a convenient alternative to manually deleting video files and allows you to save time while enjoying the game.
