A new type of event arrived in Marvel Rivals on December 4, 2025, bringing exclusive rewards for players. Van Dyne’s Grand Opening is a unique event that may take some getting used to, but it offers some exciting Psylocke-themed prizes. Here’s everything you need to know about it.
What is Van Dyne’s Grand Opening Event?
Van Dyne’s Grand Opening is essentially a small, gacha-style event featuring an array of Psylocke-themed cosmetics. During the event, you can spend Units to redeem prizes, with the ultimate goal of obtaining Psylocke’s Legendary Daring Daifuku Outfit as quickly as possible.
Where to Find the Event
You can access Van Dyne’s Grand Opening on the Anniversary page under the Events tab. Look for the three colorful balloons located between Jeff’s Break Time event and Galacta. Hovering over them will display the event name.
Note: This event cannot be accessed through the regular shop—you must visit the Anniversary page to participate.
How the Event Works
In the event, six mystery balloons are presented. You spend Units to pop a balloon, with the cost increasing for each subsequent pull:
- 1st pull: 100 Units
- 2nd pull: 200 Units
- 3rd pull: 300 Units
- 4th pull: 400 Units
- 5th pull: 600 Units
- 6th pull: 800 Units
Your main goal is to pull the Daring Daifuku Legendary Skin for Psylocke. Once you obtain it, the event ends immediately, and you automatically receive all other available rewards at no extra cost. This means it’s possible, though rare, to get the Legendary Skin on your first try and spend only 100 Units.
The outcome is completely random for each player, so luck plays a major role. Some players may need fewer Units, while others may require more. Despite this, the event is beneficial, as Legendary Skin bundles normally cost around 2,400 Units in the shop, giving players a chance to acquire them for significantly less.

Event Duration
Van Dyne’s Grand Opening runs from December 4 to December 18, 2025. After this period, the event and its exclusive rewards will disappear. It’s unclear if they will return in the future, so it’s best to claim any prizes you want while the event is active.
After completing this event, players can continue with other tasks in Marvel Rivals, such as achievements like Grand Garden Gator, Lost in The Game, The Defenders, and Prank of Monkey King.
