Jennifer English Joins Voice Cast of Digital Extremes’ Fantasy MMO Soulframe

Jennifer English, known for voicing Shadowheart in Baldur’s Gate 3, Maelle in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, and Latenna in Elden Ring, is lending her talents to yet another fantasy RPG. This time, she will voice Alora, the Empress of Eldveil, in Soulframe, the upcoming fantasy MMO from Warframe developer Digital Extremes.

During a recent dev stream, English shared a whimsical anecdote about accepting the role: “Greetings, Envoys. I had the strangest dream of a fairy who spoke in threes. She told me, ‘Beyond the veil from whence I hail where all is Fey and flora, I’m growing weak and cannot speak, so I’ve a question for ya. Lend me your voice – you haven’t a choice – soon, they’ll call us Alora.’ Naturally, I said yes, and we simply cannot wait to meet you.”

While details about Alora’s character are still sparse, concept art released during the stream showcases her striking outfit, featuring a headcrab-inspired hat and winged cape, leaving fans eager to see whether she will be a force for good or evil.

The dev stream also revealed the twelfth update for Soulframe’s playtest, arriving in two weeks. The update includes improvements to tutorials, a new greatsword weapon, and a fast travel system. As of now, Digital Extremes has not announced a firm launch date for the game.
