Teamfight Tactics Set 16, Lore and Legends, introduces a new Unlock mechanic, making it one of the craziest sets yet. Units cannot appear in the shop until they are unlocked, adding strategic restrictions and increasing team variety. This set also has the largest roster ever, with 40 unlockable champions, each with unique requirements.
How to Unlock All Units
Each unit has a specific condition for unlocking. Some are simple, while others require careful planning and advanced strategies:
- Bard (Caretaker): Reroll 4 times before Stage 2 Carousel.
- Graves (Bilgewater Gunslinger): Unlock Twisted Fate with 2 items equipped.
- Orianna (Piltover Invoker): Unlock 3 unique Piltover units.
- Poppy (Demacia Yordle Juggernaut): Unlock a Demacian or Yordle with 2 items equipped.
- Tryndamere (Freljord Slayer): Unlock Ashe with 2 items equipped.
- Yorick (Shadow Isles Warden): Unlock 2-star Viego with 2 items equipped.
- Darius (Noxus Defender): Have Draven drop 1 gold.
- Gwen (Shadow Isles Disruptor): Collect 20 Shadow Isles Souls.
- Kennen (Ionia Yordle Defender): Field 8 unique star levels of Ionia, Yordle, or Defender units.
- Kobuko & Yuumi (Yordle Bruiser Invoker): Field 6 unique star levels of Yordle, Bruiser, or Invoker units (level 7).
- LeBlanc (Noxus Invoker): Unlock Sion with 2 items equipped.
- Diana (Targon): Field 2-star Leona with 3 items equipped (level 6).
- Fizz (Bilgewater Yordle): Field 5 unique Yordles or Bilgewater units (level 7).
- Kai’Sa (Assimilator Void Longshot): Field a Longshot unit with 3 items equipped (level 8).
- Kalista (Shadow Isles Vanquisher): Collect 70 Shadow Isles Souls.
- Nasus (Shurima): Lose 2 combats in a row with Azir.
- Nidalee (Ixtal Huntress): Field two 2-star Neekos.
- Renekton (Shurima): Win 2 combats in a row with Azir.
- Rift Herald (Void Bruiser): Have Void active for 8 player combats.
- Singed (Zaun Juggernaut): Field 4 unique Zaunites or Juggernauts; lose 35 Player Health.
- Skarner (Ixtal): Equip a non-Tank with Gargoyle’s Stoneplate (level 7).
- Veigar (Yordle Arcanist): Equip a unit with 2 Rabadon’s Deathcaps (level 7).
- Warwick (Zaun Quickstriker): Field 1-star Jinx and 2-star Vi (level 7).
- Yone (Ionia Slayer): 3-star Yasuo.
- Aatrox (Darkin World Ender Slayer): Field a champion who starts combat with 40% Omnivamp (level 8).
- Galio (Demacia Heroic): Field 12 unique star levels of Demacia.
- Mel (Noxus Disruptor): 2-star Ambessa dies in combat with an item.
- Sett (Ionia The Boss): Only 1 unit in the two front rows of the battlefield (level 8).
- T-Hex (HexMech Piltover Gunslinger): Field 9 unique star levels of Piltover units.
- Tahm Kench (Bilgewater Glutton Bruiser): Spend 500 Bilgewater Silver Serpents.
- Thresh (Shadow Isles Warden): Collect 175 Shadow Isles Souls.
- Volibear (Freljord Bruiser): Field a unit starting combat with 3800 Health (level 8).
- Xerath (Shurima Ascendant): Alternate between winning and losing for 3 combats with Azir.
- Ziggs (Zaun Yordle Longshot): Equip a Yordle or Zaunite with 3 items (level 9).
- Aurelion Sol (Star Forger Targon): Field 5 unique Targonians.
- Baron Nashor (Void Riftscourge): Field 7 unique Void units (level 10).
- Brock (Ixtal): Collect 500 Ixtal Sunshards.
- Ryze (Rune Mage): Field 4 region traits together (level 9).
- Sylas (Chainbreaker Arcanist Defender): Sell a 2-star Jarvan IV, Garen, and Lux.
- Zaahen (Darkin Immortal): Have the Trials of Twilight Augment; field a 3-star Xin Zhao for 5 combats.
Completing the Lorefinder
To complete the Lorefinder, players must unlock all 40 units throughout the Lore and Legends season. Rewards include emotes and cosmetics for every 10 characters unlocked:
