Description
Toki no Tabibito: Time Stranger is a text-based adventure game with a focus on commands and dialogue. The player controls a time-traveling cop who visits key figures from Japanese history, answers their questions, and gradually moves towards the present. Most of the game is presented in first-person view, with the other character facing the main character, who asks and answers questions. There are also third-person sequences where the player must return to their time machine before it leaves. Although the game offers some branching paths based on dialogue choices, its narrative is fairly linear.
