Hat Trick Hero 2 is a soccer game released exclusively in Japan in 1994. An American version was originally planned under the name Super Soccer Champ 2, but was cancelled.
The game allows you to choose the different international teams present during the 94 World Cup. At the beginning of the game, you will have to choose the captain of the team among 8 possible choices, as well as the type of formation. You can choose between Exhibition, World League (similar to a world tournament), Taito Cup (24 teams to beat), Shootout, Option and Password modes. Note that in Taito Cup mode, after beating all 23 teams, there is a final match against the team with the abbreviation “NLC”. Mode 7 gives a special perspective to the game.
