Fortnitemares has returned, bringing plenty of spooky surprises to the Fortnite island. To unlock special rewards and experience everything the event has to offer, players must complete a set of themed quests — and one of the trickier ones asks you to “Call players with Last Call.”
If you’re unsure how to complete this objective, here’s a step-by-step guide on how to get and use the Last Call item in Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 4.
How to Get the Last Call Item in Fortnite
You can find the Last Call item by entering any Stalkbox scattered across the island.
These are eerie, phone booth–like structures surrounded by an orange and black glow and making a ringing sound. When you’re close to one, an exclamation mark icon will appear on your screen.
While there are about 30 possible spawn points for Stalkboxes, not all will appear in every match — so you’ll need to explore to find one. Here are a few reliable locations where they often appear:
- The middle of the bridge at Pumpkin Pass
- Near the front entrance of Creepy Camps by the lake
- At the gas station south of Creepy Camps, where you can also find Shaggy
- Near the southern area of Utopia City
- In the center of Dreamy Domain
- Near the north side of Kappa Kappa Factory
- In the center of Shogun’s Solitude
- Within the flower fields south of Utopia City
- By the eastern edge of Canyon Crossing
How to Call Players with Last Call
Once you’ve entered a Stalkbox, you’ll obtain the Last Call item. This item has two main functions:
- Attack – a melee-style slashing move you can use in combat.
- Call Players – the special ability required for this quest.
The Call Players ability sends out a red scanning grid that highlights nearby opponents with red diamonds, marking their positions.
To activate this ability, look at the bottom left corner of your screen while holding the item — the correct button for your platform will be displayed there.
Because the ability has a short cooldown period, it’s best to use it only when you believe other players are nearby.
To finish the quest, you must mark 10 different players using the Call Players ability. Your progress carries over between matches, so you don’t have to do it all in one round.
After Completing the Quest
Once you’ve marked 10 players, the quest will be complete, and you can move on to the next Fortnitemares challenges — like finding and carving pumpkins or facing the Ultima Carver boss for even greater rewards.
