The annual birthday festivities have arrived on the Fortnite island, bringing plenty of limited-time fun. One of the event’s key items is birthday cakes, which players can find and consume.
With the island being quite large, tracking down birthday cakes can be challenging. You’ll need to locate and interact with them for certain quests. Here’s a guide to all birthday cake locations in Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 4.
Birthday Cake Locations in Fortnite
There are 10 locations around the island where birthday cakes can be found. These include named POIs as well as smaller, unnamed areas and landmarks.
- Supernova Academy – Southwestern corner of the courtyard area.
- OXR HQ – Near the northeast end of the POI.
- West of First Order Base – Inside a small Smash N’ Grab Jewelry Store between Supernova Academy and First Order Base.
- Gas Station south of The Hive – Near the northwest end of a BURD gas station.
- Foxy Floodgate – Close to the northern end of Foxy Floodgate.
- Outlaw Oasis – Northern edge of Outlaw Oasis, near red lounge chairs.
- Canyon Crossing – Near the south end of Canyon Crossing.
- Demon’s Debris – Southwestern edge of Demon’s Debris.
- North of Kappa Kappa Factory – Middle of the tennis courts, slightly north of Kappa Kappa Factory and south of Shining Span.
- Dystopia City – Northwest corner of the POI, on some grass.
At each location, you’ll find a large purple-and-blue cake surrounded by smaller cake slices on plates and balloons. While you cannot interact with the main cake, the slices can be consumed to restore health or shields.
Some cakes are slightly outside named POIs, located at landmarks or unnamed spots. Completing two main birthday quests near these cakes is necessary to finish all special missions.
Dance by a Birthday Cake
To complete the dance by a birthday cake quest, perform any emote while standing near a cake. Despite the quest name, any emote counts as long as you are close to the cake.
Eat Slices of Birthday Cake
To complete the eat slices of birthday cake quest, you must consume eight slices of birthday cake. Each cake has enough slices on plates around it, but you can only eat them if your health or shields are not full. If other players have already consumed some slices, you may need to visit multiple cakes to complete this quest.
After finding all birthday cakes, there are more challenges to complete on the island, such as collecting birthday presents or visiting the mysterious mountain location.
