If you’re stuck in the Titans’ Grudge story mission, where the goal is to escape the World of Dreams in Digimon Story: Time Stranger, you’re not alone.
It took me a while to figure out the solution, but the clue was there all along. Here’s a quick guide to help you escape the World of Dreams.
How to Complete the Titans’ Grudge Mission
When you enter the World of Dreams, you’ll see Bacchusmon standing in the center and five portals around him. You start on the left side and will naturally want to head right, but you’ll notice you keep going in a loop, never reaching the sixth portal.
The portal sequence works like this: 1 → 2 → 3 → 4 → 5 → 1.
This is actually intentional. You need to go through this loop first. When you enter the 5th portal, you’ll come out of the 1st portal—but this time on the right side instead of the left.
The key is to stay in portal 1 and run straight toward Bacchusmon in the center. You can float and walk past him—it’s a dream, after all. Keep moving forward, and the path will automatically guide you through the 4th portal, eventually leading you out through the 6th portal and triggering a cutscene.
Tip: This area is perfect for leveling up your Digimon, as enemies respawn almost instantly each time you go through the portals.
How to Defeat Witchmon
After the cutscene, you’ll face Witchmon. She is strong against Vaccine Digimon and weak against Virus Digimon, so make sure to include Virus Digimon like Orochimon or Dragomon in your battle setup.
If you have Ultimate-level Digimon, you should be fine. Witchmon uses heavy AoE attacks, which can be deadly if chained together.
Her charge attack takes two full turns to activate, giving you two rounds to deal free damage. During this time, she opens her hand as a new target—attack the hand instead of her body. Doing so breaks her charge, nullifying her ultimate attack, Baluluna Gale. If the charge completes, use Guard to minimize damage and heal your party as needed.
You can also save your Cross Arts for her charge attack to ensure you always break it. Continue attacking, breaking her charge when needed, and repeat until Witchmon is defeated.
