Escaping the World of Dreams (Titans’ Grudge Mission)

When you enter the World of Dreams, you’ll see Bacchusmon standing in the middle, surrounded by five glowing portals. At first glance, it looks like you need to follow the portals in order.

The portals cycle in this order:
1 → 2 → 3 → 4 → 5 → 1

At first, this seems like an endless loop. However, this setup is actually part of the solution. By going through the fifth portal, you’ll reappear at the first—but this time on the right side, rather than the left.

Here’s the trick: instead of continuing the loop, stay at portal 1 and run directly toward Bacchusmon. You’ll literally float through him (since this is a dream world) and keep moving forward. This path will push you into portal 4, and then you’ll exit through a hidden 6th portal. After this, a cutscene will play, advancing the mission.

💡 Pro Tip: This area is also a great place to grind levels. Passing through the portals quickly respawns enemies, letting you farm EXP efficiently.


How to Beat Witchmon

After the cutscene, you’ll face Witchmon, a tough boss battle. Here’s what you need to know:

  • Type Advantage: Witchmon is strong against Vaccine-type Digimon but weak against Virus-type Digimon. Bring Virus Digimon like Orochimon or Dragomon to deal heavy damage.
  • AoE Attacks: Witchmon frequently uses area-of-effect skills. If she chains multiple AoEs, your party can get wiped out quickly, so keep healing items ready.
  • Charge Attack (Baluluna Gale):
    • Witchmon spends two full turns charging before unleashing her ultimate move.
    • During this time, she reveals her hand as a separate target. Attack the hand to break the charge and cancel the move.
    • If you fail to interrupt, guard with your party to reduce the damage and cure any “Injured” status afterward.

To make things easier, save your Cross Arts for when Witchmon starts charging. This guarantees you can hit the break and stop her devastating attack.

Keep applying pressure, break her charges when needed, and she’ll eventually go down.
