Where to Get the Anvil Blueprint in ARC Raiders

The Anvil is arguably one of the best guns in ARC Raiders, and obtaining it can give you an excellent run, providing a strong chance to take down ARCs and other players. However, it’s fairly rare and expensive if you don’t already have the blueprint.

Finding the Anvil Blueprint

There isn’t a fixed location for the Anvil blueprint, but you can technically find it in any human container — anything that isn’t an ARC container. Some containers tend to have higher rarity loot, which makes them more likely to hold the Anvil blueprint. Here are some good options to check:

  • Red Lockers: Always found indoors, often containing rare items including blueprints.
  • Raider Caches: Found outdoors, usually partially buried in debris or the ground. These are small metal containers with a yellow logo, and you’ll hear a ticking sound when you’re near them. Many players, including myself, have found the Anvil blueprint in these.

Beyond these, loot every human container you can find. The blueprint’s spawn is mostly random, so it can appear in suitcases in apartment buildings or even in trash cans. Be thorough and don’t overlook any unsearched bins. Make sure you have an augment with a safe pocket, so you don’t risk losing the blueprint once you pick it up.

Crafting the Anvil

Once you’ve obtained the blueprint, learn it from your inventory. You can then craft the Anvil at a Gunsmith workbench with the following resources:

GunRequired Resources
Anvil Ix5 Mechanical Components
x6 Simple Gun Parts

The Anvil is a hand cannon that packs a massive punch, making it one of the best guns in the game. Securing its blueprint early should be a priority; otherwise, you’ll need to spend 15,000 credits to buy it, which is a significant amount early in the game. Given its power, it’s likely one of the guns that might be nerfed in future updates.
