At the end of each run in Absolum, you earn Radiance based on how far you’ve progressed. As your total Radiance level in the Sanctuary increases, you’ll receive rewards — typically either a Primordial Seed or an Imbued Fruit.
While the purpose of Primordial Seeds is fairly clear, many players wonder what to do with the growing pile of Imbued Fruits. Here’s everything you need to know about their use and where to spend them.
What Are Imbued Fruits in Absolum?
Imbued Fruits are a special resource used to enhance Rituals in Absolum.
You can spend them by interacting with Vikhana the Joyful at the Sanctuary (also known as Uchawi’s Hearth).
Vikhana allows you to buff specific types of Rituals. For example, if you frequently use the Ritual of Thunder, you can strengthen its individual rituals to make them more powerful in future runs.
In short, upgrading your rituals with Imbued Fruits makes your character stronger and your subsequent runs much more effective.
How to Unlock Vikhana the Joyful
Vikhana isn’t available at the start of the game. To access her services, you first need to rescue her.
After defeating the Underking, you’ll leave Grandery and set sail for Jaroba. Early in Jaroba, you’ll encounter Vikhana surrounded by enemies. Defeat them to free her — this is an unmissable story event.
Once rescued, Vikhana will appear at the Sanctuary, where you can begin using your Imbued Fruits to enhance your Rituals.
By the time you unlock her, you’ll likely have a healthy stash of Fruits ready to spend — so choose your upgrades wisely.
How to Earn More Imbued Fruits
You can obtain Imbued Fruits through several means:
- Radiance Rewards – Each time you increase your Sanctuary’s Radiance level, Uchawi may grant you an Imbued Fruit as a revival reward.
- Tasks and Challenges – Completing certain missions for Wisshelm the Archivist can also yield Imbued Fruits as rewards.
