Vikhana the Joyful is a friendly NPC in Absolum who can enhance your Rituals in exchange for Imbued Fruit. After you’ve upgraded several Rituals, she’ll ask you to retrieve her special tools — essential items that allow her to further assist you.
Finding these tools can be tricky since the entire route leading to them is hidden. Here’s how to locate Vikhana’s tools and what happens after you return them.
How to Find Vikhana’s Tools
Vikhana will tell you that her tools are located somewhere in Jaroba, and a quest marker will appear on your map.
To reach the area, head to the third node, where you’ll find the Resting Heartroot spot. Instead of following the main upper path, move to the lower-right side of the screen to uncover a hidden path blocked by vines. Attack the vines to open the way and enter The Green Maze.
Inside The Green Maze, continue until you reach the fifth node, where you’ll encounter The Beast, Fallen Guardian boss fight. After defeating The Beast, proceed forward to reach The Hidden Sanctuary.
In this area, you’ll find a chest containing Vikhana’s tools — it’s impossible to miss. Collect them, and when you begin a new run, visit Vikhana at the main Sanctuary to return the tools. She’ll thank you and promise to put them to good use.
What Happens After Returning the Tools
Once you’ve given Vikhana her tools, she gains the ability to appear randomly during your runs in non-boss rooms. When she does, she’ll upgrade one of your current Rituals, improving its power and effects.
For example, she might enhance your Repelling Power ritual to level 2, granting it better stats and performance.
Her appearances are entirely random, meaning she may not show up in every run. However, giving her the tools is still highly worthwhile, as it unlocks the chance for these valuable ritual upgrades during your adventures.
